Heart Punches

The flowers on this card were made with the heart punches, The large flower is made with Full Heart. I punched 7 hearts of Pixie Pink to make the flower and 2 hearts of Green Galore for the leaves. I folded the leaves in half and ran them through the crimper. The small flower is made using the Heart to Heart punch. For this one, I used 6 hearts to make the flower. Leaves were punched from this punch also. I used the eyelet border punch to the bottom of the DS paper. The greeting is from Oval all and I used the large oval punch for the greeting and scallop oval to matte. I used the Trio Flower punch for the centers and placed a bead in the center of each.

Baskets And Blooms

This is made with the Baskets & Blooms die cut. It's really simple...You begin bywith the Big Shot and the Baskets & Blooms Die and cut just the two Basket images. Cut the little perforated tab off the side of the basket Die-cuts, you won't need it for this project. Cut your cardstock at 6 x7" and score 2" from each edge. Trim along the score lines from the edge to the crossing score line on two parallel sides and use your Bone Folder to crease along all score lines.

Attach sticky strip to all sides. Attach first flap to the back of the die cut. Next attach the side flaps according to the angles of the box. I attached a border punched with eyelet border. The flower is made with scallop punch and attached with glue dots.

Build a Bear

The new Build a Bear stamp set"Beary Best Friends" is so cute! I've seen some great projects made with this... I made this card for a card swap. I used the Bermuda Bay DS paper and the Top Note Die cut to make this card. The greeting is from Beary Nice Wishes. I colored with watercolor pencils and blender pen. I made the bow from white paper strips.


This next card was received in the swap. It was made by Candyce Geck. She used the Top Note Die Cut and the Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions folder. Flower is made with scallop punch.

I attended a downline meeting this week...Linda Gutierrez hosted the meeting and she had great business tips and these great projects for us to make! The first project is a mini pocket card made with the Petal card die cut. We used the Delightful Decorations stamps set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the circle and scallop punches to make the flowers for the tag and the paper clip. The second project is for halloween using Sweet Centers from the Holiday Mini. She showed us how to make this a slider card so that the candy can be taken out without tearing the card. The tag pulls out to release the candy through the back of the card. We also used scraps to make a stand for the card for display.

Treat Caddy

This is made with Box #2 die cut, decorated with Fifth Avenue Floral and Embosslits Sweetest Stem. Two boxes are cut and adhered back to back. The handle is punched with large oval punch. It's filled with cookies on one side and trail mix on the other side.

Kind and Caring Thoughts

This card was made with the level three hostess set, Kind and Caring Thoughts.

The circles were punched with the 1 3/8 punch. I used the white gel pen for the

stitching. The greeting is from Matchbox messages.

I'm still on a hunt for easy treat holders for the games this week...this one was taken from inkingaddict.blogspot.com by Paula Goff. Her instructions made this very easy to make.

I'm not sure what were putting in yet...but I'm sure it will be some kind of baked treat.
