Last night was our last class for my Tuesday night group.
What could be better?  Good friends...good food...and they still made cards!

Truly Grateful

Todays card is one that I saw on Brandi Cox's blog.  Isn't it amazing??  I didn't have
some of the supplies she used so this is slightly different..not much...
This card uses Truly Grateful stamp set from Holiday catalog...and appropriately titled...we
have so much to be grateful for!  Colors used are Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede
and Chocolate Chip.  The greeting is from Tags for you and punched with Label Bracket punch.
The ribbon is the 1 1/4 Burlap Ribbon from Holiday catalog and Pearl Basic Jewels on top of the ribbon.

Festive Flurry Treat Holder

Here's a great treat holder made with Festive Flurry Stamp Set!  The original idea is from
Dawn Olchefske's blog.  She made hers using Chicklets packets but I wasn't able
to find those.  This is a Peppermint gum packet...a little thicker than a Chicklets box so
its a little bulkier.  This slot is made with the Word Window Punch. and I had to punch
several times to make the insert wider for the box to fit.  The snowflakes are stamped
in Bermuda Bay and popped up with Dimensionals.  The large snowflake is cut with
framelits and Silver Glimmer paper and topped with Frosted Finishes Embellishments.
The belly band is embossed with Stylish Stripes embossing folder and a rhinestone is
placed at the point.
